Transparency

Complete and clear

The cooperation between pharmaceutical companies and healthcare professionals as well as institutions is important and necessary. It serves the welfare of patients and the constant improvement of healthcare.

To maintain the necessary transparency, Gebro undertakes to comply with the Pharmig Code of Conduct (VHC-Pharmig).

Article 9 regulates the disclosure of pecuniary benefits resulting from the cooperation of pharmaceutical companies with healthcare professionals (doctors, pharmacists, etc.) and institutions (hospitals, professional associations, etc.). 

Article 10 regulates the cooperation with patient organizations and their publication.

Drug safety

The health and well-being of our patients is our top priority. It is our ethical and legal duty to verifiably ensure the efficacy and quality of our drugs at any time. We only manufacture and distribute our products responsibly and educate both healthcare professionals and patients about both the benefits and risks.

Gebro established a proactive HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) policy years ago. Alongside our market-centric approach to creating value and the high level of accountability of our employees, it is one of the cornerstones of our success.

Every employee at Gebro is highly accountable for safety in the workplace. Work-related diseases, physical injury, and work accidents must be prevented at all times.

We proactively take care of each other and thus minimize our accident risk. We are proud of a consistently low accident rate and continuously improve our safety processes.

Technically advanced facilities and ongoing training guarantee the strictest safety standards for our employees. We expect the same when selecting our business partners.

Promoting health

Protection of the environment

At Gebro, we want to achieve more than just the mandatory implementation of environmental regulations. The preservation of resources is particularly important to us.

With ARAplus, we can do our part in saving over 500,000 tons of CO2 per year by separate collection and recycling of packaging material - this corresponds to the annual emissions of approx. 6% of all Austrian cars.
